RheumaGen’s novel HLA gene editing technology designed to treat autoimmune diseases was featured in a CBS News Colorado segment in August 2023. CBS highlighted RheumaGen’s curative approach to rheumatoid arthritis, noting that an estimated 35,000 Coloradans are currently living with RA.

CBS News also highlighted RheumaGen COO Brian Hart’s personal connection to RA through his mother, who has suffered from RA for over 25 years. Additionally, the outlet reported on the support the University of Colorado has provided for RheumaGen to grow and thrive.
